XETV-TV/Channel 6 has become “San Diego 6 The CW,” and the proud new home of The CW Television Network. The station logo and primetime programming will change, but the rest of the program schedule will remain the same, including “San Diego 6 in the Morning,” “San Diego 6 News @10 p.m.” and “San Diego Living.” According to the May 2008 Nielsen Media Research rating survey, the 10 p.m. and morning newscasts were rated #1 among adults 18-54.

Three San Diego radio stations are finalists in the National Association of Broadcasters’ Marconi Radio Awards. Jazz 88 (KSDS/88.3 FM) is a finalist for large-market station of the year, alternative station FM 94.9 (KBZT/94.9 FM) is a finalist in the rock-station category, and KSON-FM (97.3 and 92.1 FM) is a finalist for country station of the year. The winners will be announced Sept. 18.

Frank Rogozienski Photography happily announces his 366/08 Picture a Day project will be exhibited at Subtext Gallery in January 2009. Frank has been taking one picture a day since January 1, 2008. The year long project will end on December 31, 2008. Subtext Gallery is located in Little Italy and owned by Don Hollis, Hollis Brand Communications and Dylan Jones, Senior Designer, Mires+Ball.
